Circle Bakote

A workshop was held in Lahore with the help of UNESCO and PAKISTAN PRESS FOUNDATION(PPF) and under the supervision of IUCN Pakistan. Journalist from all over the pakistan participated in this workshop. The topic of the workshop was about environmental issues in modern era. Afia Salam represented IUCN and Muqtada Mansoor represented ppf  in the workshop. Journalist were trained about “how to hilight the environmental issues” in this workshop. The team of journalists visited different areas of the ROYAL LEATHER INDUSTRIES LTD as part of this workshop.

A meeting of Gallyaat Circle Bakote union of journalists was held in Islamabad. President Ishtiaq Abbasi and chairman Naveed Akram abbasi also participated in the meeting. Chairman of union Naveed Akram Abbasi went to participate in a media training organized by the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations in Katmandu. Many well known journalists from Pakistan and other countries of world will also participate in this media training.

By Naveed Akram Abbasi Bakote: Fascinating result in matriculation examination by private school in UC Berote “Syed Ahamd Shaheed School” as 6 students scored A+, 12 A grades and 13 B grades including record breaking highest marks by Sidra Dilpazir “911″,  Ghaada Sajid “899″ and Kiran Ilyaas 898. On the other hand government high schools displayed a very disappointing results specially GHS bakote where no student can get A grade and only 11 passed out of 95 in 9th class with highest marks by Zuhaib Tahir “327″ & Qasim Zahore “657″ in 9th & 10th respectively.
