The image below is of rail track on Shimla hills built by british government in 1880. A simillar project was planned for gallyaat as well and a start up survey was also upheld in 1940. But after independence no one really cared about this project. One wonders if a train track was build 130 years ago on Shimla hills and planning can be done of another one in gallyat about 70 Years ago then why can’t our government and elected members think about it in this time?
