I like the pictures of previous tournmente played in Bakote.I hope we will see more pictures for comming event too.Only one thing i will ask please tell me who was Mr Idrees Abbasi? was he that short and very smart crickter?if it is,then pls tell me what happend to him? i loved to see him playing cricket a very good all rounder of Bakote.please tell me if he is not in this world anymore.
I enjoyed pictures of Azkar,Naveed,Ahsan,and lots of other ppl whome i know.pls give them my regards.Shaukat Abbasdi ,Mahtab Abbasi,Faisal qayum Sadaqat Abbasi ,Darwesh Abbasi and all these other organisers are well known for their contribution in cricket for the area.Goood to see these experianced ppl,still serving and promoting cricket in the area.

Passion of outdoor games revived again in Bakote.But we have lost famous time victory combination of young star and Bakote green. Where famous bowlers like Shokat Arbab,Mahtab Abbasi,Yasir Abbasi,Asad Nawaz,Haroon Rasheed and Azkar Abbasi were seen in their brilliant action and contained the batsman’s in minor total.
As same Bakote,s spectators can not forget famous Boom Boom Baitsmans,Amjad Asghar,Yousaf Abbasi and how we can forget wicket keeper Batsman Haider Zaman, who was Consecutively affective beyond the wickets and in front of bowlers.
New generation of cricketer have needed more time for practices and experience. Any how they had done the great job for the revival of cricket. Last Pay my Slaam to all of my brothers who are living abroad, especially Khatab Uncle ,Asad uncle ,Suhail Bhae ,Jasim bhae and Fahad bhae.

Bakot Sports Club Proudly announces the First Idrees Abbasi Memorial Cricket tournament, which will take place on Friday, 25 December 2009 to 27 December 2009 at County Cricket Ground Bakot. The Bakot Sports Club would like to invite all the best cricket teams of the areas to play in this tournament.
The Bakote Sport Club of cricket is believed to have been born around the mid of 19th century. Over the years with the long-time tradition of the sport being adhered to it more or less, Cricket along with its numerous events and tournaments have made it a wholesome prestigious affair, that respects past Cricket history and players that have taken the sport to an all new level.
Therefore, we invite all who are involving cricket enthusiasts and professionals to participate in a particular cricketing event. The cricket tournament invitations are planned and the operations managed by the cricket tournament organizing committee. These invitations can be reached out to prospective teams either through modes such as the telephone/ Invitation letter or standard mail.
Once the First Idrees Abbasi Memorial tournament invitations are distributed out, teams would be registered on or before 24 December 2009, the tournament organizers act according to the feedback provided. They can then create a list of possible Teams and then look forward to the catering,
We are optimistic it would be a crowd-puller, making the tournament a huge success and promises to be an overall enthralling cricketing experience.

I congratulate to all of brothers, who are living in Pakistan or settled abroad. Our “Higher Secondary School and College” for boys was approved by the government, 25 million grant sanctions for that project. Inshallah in near future construction would be started by the constructer.

Right now we all should be thankful to ERRA for the funds allocation for reconstruction of damaged building of GHS Bakote, Birote & Moolia and even for the Kohala road.
