Of course, these are areas are naturally beautiful but very backward, especially the education and health sectors are totally needless to say unavailable. A few boy schools with a poor standard of education present, which is the cause of poor literacy rate. Among girls, the situation is so severe that one cannot imagine. These areas need a new "Sir Syed". Anyway, my youth friends, now it is up to us to take step in this regard.

Take care all of yourself and around yours

hi every body. me waqar from majhot. I agree with all persons who had put their comments bcz every person has the right to say and share his views. I thng i wnt to clear that now in circle bakot and uc nammal the literacy rate is very high as compare to 4,or 5 years ago. i thnk in most of the people( young) have matric degree ther are lot of gradute nd masters degree holders. lot of people are from these bakword villages (as u said) working in well known organization like Mr Ejaz Ahma(Majhot) Working in Pia as sr Account Officer, Waqar Ahmad(leeran) in KRL Waqar Ahmad(Majhot) working in bank Alfalh as Relationship Officer many other Like M. shahzad, Dr M Hafeez, M Azhar,M abid, Zia ur Rehman, are working in valueable positions.

Dear Mr. Wagar,

You have told about the literary rate in UC Namal and Bakot. Of course, bakot has a better rate than Namal, even though there is a lot of graduates and postgradudates. Honestly speaking Wagar, Matric isn't a degree in today's life. You can somehow say that nothing is better than something, of course some years ago, there wasn't a single graduate Man in Namal especially Upper areas like Langaloot, Bari Bagla, Leeran, Majoot etc. but now days, we have noticed some improvement in that rate, though still female education is a question mark. Yes we are proud those who are serving nation at good posts Like Mr. Waqar (Leeran) is now attending the "Big Bang Theory" Sweden. Today's youth have a better opportunity than their elders to prove their abilities, so i think they are availing this, doing honorable services both in the country and abroad.
Khatab Ahmed Abbasi Says:
August 19th, 2009 at 5:46 am

Hi guys:
Weldon I really appreciate your efforts, proud on all of you, I was thinking about young generation but today I confirmed that we have potential but there is only need to proper utilization of these potentials. There is a good sign that we feel these things that we are belonging from backward areas (only lack of resources), we can’t get the basic rights of life, we can’t compare our facilities to any other, we are facing trouble due to lack of good transportation, education, health, water, electricity & communication, I really appreciate whose, those are getting education like graduation and so on it is really difficult for our peoples because they are going to Abbottabad/Islamabad/ Rawalpindi for further education after getting matric certificate, when the boys are far away from their homes they are facing lot of problems some percentage is failing to continue their education.
The natural beauty of our area is God gifted and nobody can neglect it now we are in 21st century and there is no contribution of any person during last 60 years for the development of our piece of heaven, our politicians are also fails to entertain the general public, so this is my humble request to all young men reside from U/c Nummal specially upper area, get up and do some thing for your home land otherwise coming generation will never exonerate us.
God bless you.

Dear Mr. Iqbal,

Look back at your comments, it is look like that you have mentioned those facilities for Majoote but not for Islamabad. Actually, you have cut something from somewhere else and paste it by putting name Majoot in it. It was better if you write about the reality of Majhoot a really like a terrible hilly area, anyone please don't go there, except those taking risk.

Anyhow, I never wanted to hurt you my putting my comments, people are viewing your village's picture, house made of mud and tin are like hanging with a wall.

Have you guys ever commented elsewhere or wrote a blog, I think you should practice regarding these thing, but anyway it is acceptable, at least you participated here. It is highly appreciated.

Iqbal that is boring, it is not as popular as you wanted to show.

Ms. Sadia and Waqar mentioned that our people criticized each other, i think criticism is a part of our society and by criticism, we can correct our mistakes not only in writing but also in our daily life. If everybody say all is well and praised all the time, then how we can pinpoint our mistakes and wrong things, so i personally think criticism is whatever to correct things. What we need to bear, which others are pinpointing.

It is looking great when our woman take part in this forum and do write something.

Abbottabad
. It is a popular health resort c.4,000 ft (1,225 m) above sea level in the Himalaya region. It is also an administrative center and a market town for an agricultural and timber area. Founded by Sir James Abbott, a deputy commissioner of British India, it was an important British military post. Nearby are rock inscriptions of Indian emperor Asoka (3d cent. B.C.). The city suffered widespread damage from the 2005 N Pakistan earthquake

is a city located in Hazara, Pakistan . The city is situated in the Orash Valley, 150 km north of Islamabad and 200 km east of Peshawar at an altitude of 4,120 feet (1,260 m). The city is well-known throughout Pakistan for its pleasant weather, high standard educational institutions and military establishments. It remains a major hub for tourism of the Northern Areas in

History

In 1818, Sikh Emperor Ranjit Singh invaded and annexed Hazara however in 1820 his generals were defeated by the Muslims. In 1821, during another attempt at conquest by the Sikhs, Amar Singh was killed at Harroh. Sardar Hari Singh Nalwa, the governor of Kashmir, then went to Hazara to battle against the Muslim tribes, but it took him three years to subdue the warlike mountaineers of the outer hills. It was not until 1836 that the Gakhars of Khanpur were finally defeated.[3] Painda Khan was the tribal chief of the Tanoli tribe at the time of the invasion of Hazara by the Sikhs. Mir Painda Khan is famed for his staunch rebellion against Maharaja Ranjit Singh's Governors of Hazara. He was the son of Mir Nawab Khan, who defeated the Durranis and freed his kingdom from their influence. From about 1813, he spent a life long rebellion against the Sikhs. Mir Painda Khan relentless rebellion against the Sikh empire, cost him a major portion of his Kingdom, leaving only his twin capitals Amb and Darband. However, this deterred him less and appeared to increase his resistance against the Sikh government. The District Gazetteer of the North-West Frontier Province (p138) confirms, "Painda Khan, played a considerable part in the history of his time and vigorously opposed the Sikhs." General Abbott commented that "During the first period of Painda Khan's carrer, he was far too vigorous and powerfull to be molested by any neighbouring tribe, and when he began to fail before the armies and purse of the Sikh Government, he was interested in keeping upon the best terms with his northern neighbours of the Black Mountains." He is further described as a Chief renowned on the Border, a wild and energetic man who was never subjugated by the Sikhs. His son Jehandad Khan also followed his footsteps. "Of all the tribal chiefs of Hazara, the most powerful said to be Jehandad Khan of the Tanoli, whose land straddled both banks of the Indus and whose fellow-tribesmen were brave and hardy and accounted for the best swordsmen in Hazara". There was a long history of conflict between Jehandad Khan's family and the Sikhs, and the name of his father Painda Khan, was said to be "magic to the ears of the people of Hazara" because of the struggles he fought on behalf of his "poor circumscribed and rugged principality" against the Sikhs. When Sikh power was on the fall in 1845, Jehandad Khan blockaded the garrisons of no less than 22 Sikh posts in Upper Tanawal and when they surrendered at discretion, he spared their lives, as the servants of a fallen Empire. However in 1845 the local populace, taking advantage of the problems in Lahore (the capital of the Sikh Empire), rose up in rebellion. They drove the governor of Hazara, Diwan Mulraj, to Hasan Abdal in 1846. However, with the conclusion of the first Sikh War, Hazara along with Kashmir was given to Raja Gulab Singh. But in 1847 the Raja gave back Hazara to the Lahore Darbar in exchange for land near Jammu, and Hazara passed into British control.[3]

HAPPY RAMZAN MUBARIK

The most prominent event of this month is fasting. Every day during the month of Ramadan, Muslims around the world get up before dawn to eat Sehri then they perform the prayer. They have to stop eating and drinking before the call for prayer starts until the fourth prayer of the day, Maghrib. Muslims break their fast at Maghrib prayer time with a meal called Iftar.
May Allah give all Muslims and all pakistani's happies and we have to perform pray and fast,.

Dear All,
Aslamo-Alai-Kum!
After long time I visited our web site and read your comments just move you attention to serious things. You all are requested that we should put here our comments for result oriented not for time pass we should point out the problem of these areas, solution of the said problems, highlight the achievements if any there, need to research about our religion, our history, our founders, then we will know how much sacrifices were given at the time of independence, today we are not sitting at one platform we can’t convince to each other even brothers. The youth’s are the responsible for the offences which happened in the societies, currently I heard a cable scandal which is a shameful for all of us seriously I can not think there is criminals living among us. It is bad impression for our whole society I am requesting to all you young peoples please point out the mistakes and problems at initial stage if we should remove the problem at initial stage then nobody can do this like said case, the youths should show the strength against the negative and illegal things from the society we should have to pay our attention around the family, society and village there is minor percentage of the peoples are living in our societies those are taking a illegal action openly/getting benefits and we are just watching. Now this is the time Pls. get up brothers and decide to protect your homeland, society from all these enemies and save our image. We should sit together at one platform we should take our decision by self and do more for the betterment of the coming generation. If anything hurt someone I apologies in advance.

dear friends ,
i am proud on all of you who they belong to this website ,sadia awan asked a question in her comment
she said no one is sending comments on the website without khokher and abassi famlies,so sadia her is the answer for your question
in my home land mostly people are educated but the problem is that they dont know about the internet
second they feel shame to write it down a word about their village ,you know what those people are doing over their!they are working on each other only they're not working for their village understand ,you must know that i fill shame too,to give you answer like this ,second education is you're own personality which give you a good place in educated people,if you're educated you can face anyone any time for you're rights and the same time you guys must know well that there is no age for education,
seak knowledge cradle to grave ,so if we people gether ourselves i am sour that 1 day we can bring a good rate of educated people from majhot liran painan teriati baribagla akora and lagaloot ,uncle khatab abassi said that matric is no thing and i know well that he is completly right but uncle you have to know better that for higher education you need family cooperation plus money too,and the basic step is the main part for everyon to become succees ,best regard muhammad ramzan damascus

Various aspects of youth motivation had been discussed during addresses of Javed Chaudhary

During his speech, Javed Chaudhary said, “today’s youth is born on the golden time of history, and they have ample opportunities to prove their worth. Any transformation or alteration which has become possible in the world as yet is a result of individual endeavor. Any Pakistani individual can achieve whatever he/she sets his/her heart on if he/she want”.

Hanan Ali Abbasi, at this occasion said, “Youth of the nation is said to be the backbone of any country. They can do everything if they wish to make it realize their dreams. If you go deep down to know the life history of successful Pakistanis, you would come to know that they have also done gigantic efforts towards earning good name in society. Every successful person of the world sets off his/her journey to success by doing trifling works. We have to firmly believe that today we can do anything for himself and for humanity”.

At this occasion, the administration of COMSATS University also presented souvenirs to their special guests, Javed Chaudhary and Hanan Ali Abbasi.
