Some more breathtaking scenes of village AliAbad. Thanks to Ch Abdul Ghafoor for sending pictures & information of his village.
Aliabad (formerly Pichh Bhannah, means “Backward Area”) is the largest and most famous village in the Pakistani union council of Bakot Tehsil & district Abbottabad NWFP. The name Aliabad is derived from two local Gojri words: Ali (The name of Muslim saint Hazrat Baba Ali Muhammad, the founder of Pichh Bhannah) and Abad (brought up).
The name “Aliabad” was originally proposed by Ch. Abdul Ghafoor (the pioneer of Aliabad Politics) in 1974. The majority of “Gujar Chohans 80%” are living peacefully with Syeds, Awans and Gakhars in the village. Ch. Abdul Rehman (Late) was the great leader of present Aliabad, we proudly call him as a father of modern Aliabad. He ruled over the political scenario of district Abbottabad. No doubt, because of his visionary and missionary leadership, a backward area (Pichh Bhannah) turned into a literate, skilled and civilized town Aliabad. His contribution towards Social Development Programs i.e. road development, water and electricity and Educational programs are unforgotten.
Bariyan (Centre), Kalaban, Kotli, Sehragran, Danna (Rehman Abad), Baribagla and Balikot/Riyala are the main muhallas of the Aliabad. Ch. Abdul Qayum (the soul maker) of Aliabad was the 1st master degree holder and educationist of the village who served 26 years locally to develop the students of the area (currently serving as a Principal of Govt. Secondary School Aliabad) and successfully supervise 6 boys and 2 girls schools of the village. It will be inequitable if contribution of Shokat Janjuha is not appreciated; who is providing his excellence service and support to the students those wish to continue for their higher studies especially for female students.
Ch. Fazal-ur-Rehman of Aliabad was the 1st Phd. scholar of the UC. Who also contributed a lot towards education development before migrate to Canada. Ch. Mohammed Akhtar currently serving as a lecturer in King Fahad University KSA is also Phd. Ch. Muhammed Zakir currently abbroad (China) for doctorate degree. Ch. Babar Alam (Kalaban) M Phil is currently serving as a lecturer in Punjab College of Commerce are also belong to Aliabad. Ch. Asif Hayat “1st Management Specilaist” is currently serving a Multi National Coorporation (MNC) in UAE. Hayat “Founder and Director” of Baghbaan International (a registered charity in Australia) is also the advisor of NGO (Al Rehmani Welfare Foundation). Ch. Muneer Suliman (environmental engineer) is currently doing master in environmental engineering from Turkey. Ch. Nisar Ahmed (The Second Lt) in Pakistan army. Nisar was 3rd position holder in 2005 in Abbottabad Board in HSSC examinaiton. Ch. Ali-ur-Rehman is founder of the ARWF registered in Islamabad. Student Educational Federation Kalaban is also active for regional literature endeavor. Muhammad Imran & Chaudhry Liaqat Ali is the founder of this federation and Syed Asif Hussain Shah is organizer of the federation. Both are the future of Aliabad politics. Currently Ch. Sabir Hussain and Ch. Shabbir Khan are the political leaders of Aliabad along with the strong opposition of Ch. Mohammed Bashir (N League).

My dear and most respectable Ch. Abdul Ghafoor Sb.
I am very glad to read the brief histroy and very attractive pictures of Aliabad a sub village (dakhli) of village Moolia. I am shocked to say that you never said a single word in appreciation of Moolia. Pictures of village Moolia can be more clear than Bakote from Dada gha Dher, Daka and Chiran na bagh. I also like to remind, you omitted many important issues in your brief description because it uncomplete without describing Moolia. Anyhow, you did very good job for the intorduction of Aliabad(a sub village of Moolia) and keep carryon but do not forget realities.
[Reply]
Dear Muhammad Zaheer Abbasi,
Thank you for your visit on circlebakote.com and sharing your thoughts.
The description Mr. Ch. Abdul Ghafoor shared with all of us is available on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bakot. I don’t think this is personally written by Mr Ghafoor.
I have requested many visitors from Moolia about pictures so I can add on this website. I would like to know if you have any snaps please do send us.
Thanks
Rehan

Hi Rehan,
Perfect and Marvelous!!!!
You made my day as it recalled the memories of childhood by having the snapshots of hometown.
All good luck to you and all around for sharing info or snapshots. Congratulation for your generous efforts for bridging the gap of circle representation around the globe. It’s all about understanding the core concept of History.
Kudos to Mr. Ghafoor for sharing best snaps, and would request for more snapshots as I am sure he had an enormous collection.

@ mr zaheer abbasi dont think any village can be a sub village of other village.every village ahs its own identity.there are so many villages in CIRCLE BAKOTE but it does’t mean that they are sub villages of BAKOT coz every village ahs its own identity and history.

Excellent work done by admin and the sender of these pictures. I really appreciate this effort. Nice places and nice people. May Allah keep these valleys safe and sound. These valleys are beautiful just because of their natural lifestyle. If there will be great rush, smoking air and no trees, then there will no different among huge towns and these valleys, and everybody will protest, so keep this nature safe and sound.

Dear Mr. Naveed Sb and Rehan,
Thank you very much for providing the opportunity to whole of circle bakote towards www. I was sure this task could only be done by people like you.
Though, the this cute site needs much more to do, i am sure hopefully in the future this site will become the voice of people.
There are lack of images from UC Nambal, Pattan Kalan and surrounding areas. There are a lot of villages in these UCs. They should be viewed here too, this will of course increase the beauty of this site.
Warm and personal regards

Just a quick question ? All the above names in this article are originally from this village or they are descendants of ALI ABAD living outside of this village.
I just want to know if these guys have done there High School education form this local village.
Every one got their education upto middle level from Aliabad, Mulia or Bakot high school. It’s mean “Zara sa num ho to yeh Matti bari zarkhaiz hey SAQI”

Ch Zakir sahib and friends,
this is the 2nd time that some one is asking same question and it is my pleasure to explain it as a simple way that if something grasp it erupt, time has changed if we will not adopt changes and act on time it will depart.
Future is building on the fact of history and history is that our parents, elders were faced very tough time, just imagine if some one carry a sack of ration on his back from Kohala to Pichh Bhannah (Aliabad) around 1okm what will be his expression and views?
Now time has changed awareness and facilities are more and now it is the responsibility of young generation to bring the changes in the region and I believe that they are well aware and contributing their part to develop a modern civilization.
Now the answer of your query
Yes all having their roots in Aliabad, less or more their bases build from that “ tootey phootey schools” with the best thoughts and struggles of their teachers, Parents and themselves.
Name were mentioned in the article for the recognition of their contributions for Aliabad and not just for their higher education as there are many highly educated personalities in both gender are still behind the scene.
Special thanks to Mr.Naveed & Rehan through whom we expressed and share our views.
With best wishes
Ch.Abdul Ghafoor
